IPhone 14 Series Explained: The Key Differences Between 14, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max Versions?

New series launches of iPhones have always brought an uproar, and it is not much different this year. It is a well-known fact that the users of iPhone worship them like no other, and Apple tries to keep the trust by advancing technology through each new series.

IPhone 14 is the latest version that Apple has launched, with four versions, each having its own unique features. Let’s get through them one after the other to know the lineup and their key differences.

Lineup

iPhone 14 lineup includes four versions. You can pick between regular 14, 14 Plus, or the pro versions like Pro and Pro Max. The Plus version was released after the other three versions, and now all four of them have been out for quite a while. You can easily purchase them from any market of your choice.

The new iPhone lineup is a little confusing, mainly owing to Apple’s choice of names for the latest models and their wide range of features. If you do not want to regret it later, familiarize yourself with the features before picking one to buy.

Cameras

Another thing that is worth mentioning is the cameras. Both Pro models have precisely the same cameras this year. So, the pro iPhones have a 48 MP primary camera with an f/1.78 aperture, a 12MP ultra wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, & a 12MP telephoto camera with an f/2.8 aperture. That’s pretty fancy, Right?

The best part about Pro phones that make them praiseworthy is the 48MP sensor which allows more light to be captured and results in brighter, more detailed photos even when the images get squeezed into standard 12MP.

On the other hand, the regular iPhone 14 and 14 Plus’s primary camera is a 12MP sensor with an f/1.5 aperture & a 12MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture. However, unlike the Pro models, it doesn’t have a telephoto camera.

Yet all four versions use Apple’s new Photogenic Engine for image processing, deep fusion tech and smart HDR 4.

Display

The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are almost identical except for their display sizes. And the same goes for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

iPhone 14 has a standard 6.1 inch while the 14 Plus comes with a whooping 6.7-inch display. Both displays have a 60 Hertz OLED panel that is a reasonably good display but still lacks behind the Pro model displays.

IPhone 14 Pro has a screen of 6.1″ while Pro Max beats it with a 6.7″ screen display. The displays on PRO iPhones are vastly superior. They are brighter up to 2000 nits, more fluid, and look more modern thanks to the dynamic island.

So, regardless of the similar features, 14 Pro Max takes the lead with a bigger screen for you to watch your favorite movies on Netflix, enjoy gambling on Pokies real money Australia, or battle your friends through Battle Royal games.

Material

The most obvious difference you see is the material of the phones. It is not a deal breaker for anyone, but it is still an important thing to consider.

The regular 14 and 14 Plus are made out of aluminum, while Pro models use stainless steel. The aluminum is lighter and looks more utilitarian, while steel looks very jewel-like despite being pretty heavy.

All phones use Ceramic shield front and back, but the rear glass is a bit different. It’s frosted on Pro iPhones while glossy on the regular and Plus versions.

Performance

While the 14 and 14 Plus have the same chip as the 13Pro, the 14 Pro models come with a brand new A16 chip that is significantly faster and more efficient. This is especially great news for you if you love to use resource-intensive apps and play demanding games on phones or Top payout casino sites.

However, the performance difference might not be that noticeable if you are using phones for basic tasks like browsing the web or making emails. If you plan to play tons of games, go for the Pro Models.

Battery

Last but not least, a big difference between all four models is their batteries. The regular 14 has a 3729 mAH battery, The 14 Pro has a slightly smaller battery of 3200 mAh, while the 14 Plus and Pro Max come with a whopping 4323 mAh battery that is definitely on the most prominent side when it comes to the iPhones. So, choose the phone that fits your demands and make a grab for it without thinking hard.
